Have you ever wanted to try yoga but weren't sure where to begin?

Or perhaps it's been months—or even years—since you've been on a yoga mat, and you're looking for a supportive way to return to your practice.

Gentle Yoga Foundations was created with you in mind.

Over four weeks, we'll explore the building blocks of a safe, sustainable yoga practice in a relaxed and encouraging environment. Each class will introduce foundational postures, breathing techniques, mindful movement, and relaxation while offering plenty of options to meet your body exactly where it is. 

If you're looking for a slower, more mindful approach to movement, this series was created for you. 

You'll learn how to:

  • Build confidence in common yoga poses

  • Use props to support your practice

  • Improve balance, strength, and mobility

  • Connect movement with breath

  • Reduce stress and cultivate greater ease

  • Feel comfortable joining "regular" yoga classes

There is no pressure to keep up or perform. This is a place to slow dow, learn, and feel supported as you discover how yoga can support you in everyday life.

Chairs, props, and modifications are available for anyone who would benefit from additional support.
