Breath + Bandha in Motion with Caroline Felix
Exploring the relationship between breath, bandha, and embodied movement
Sunday, August 9 | 2:00–4:00 PM
We are delighted to welcome Caroline Felix, E-RYT 500, E-RYT 200, to The Joy of Yoga & Wellness for a special guest teaching experience.
The application of pranayama (breathing techniques) and bandha (yogic energetic locks) can bring a beautiful new depth to your practice. Designed for practitioners of all experience levels, this workshop combines physical practice with guided breathing techniques to cultivate a deeper understanding of the subtle bandhas and the energetic body.
Through movement, breath, and exploration, participants will discover how these traditional yogic practices can create greater stability, awareness, and ease both on and off the mat.
You may wish to take notes during the workshop. Pens and notebooks will be provided, or feel free to bring your own.
I first began studying with Caroline in 2014, and her influence has extended far beyond the physical practice. Through her kind, steady presence and thoughtful teaching, she has helped shape not only how I practice yoga, but how I understand showing up in the world. It is a true honor to share her wisdom with this community.
